OCULAR PROSTHESIS (Artificial eye made in Acrylic… commonly known as ‘Glass eye’)

These are made in sizes that are custom made for you. These are hand painted to match the color of your iris (black portion of your eye) and sclera (white portion of your eye). These can be easily inserted and removed for cleaning by the patient himself/herself 9usually once every month).

ORBITAL PROSTHESIS

An orbital prosthesis is where we replace the eyeball along with its surrounding structures, like- eyelids, eyebrows, etc. All the components are color matched with patient’s own skin-tone and eye color. Such prosthesis are usually implant retained or adhesive retained, and color matched to patient’s skin-tone. These kind of prosthesis are self-retaining during routine day-today work but can be easily removed by the patient for cleaning.
